We have been collaborating with the Superhero Training Academy in Brightmoor.
We sponsored the Superhero Training Academy at Murphy Performance Academy this past semester. Students developed their own superhero identities, coming to understanding themselves through the values of joy, wisdom, compassion, and fortitude. They engaged in team building challenges and creative arts to develop confidence, leadership, and creativity.
In addition, Superhero Training Academy has been leading team-building games for youth during the Brightmoor Free Store and during work team visits.
In turn, our work teams have helped them with their Playscape garden and playground.
